Thanksgiving is Coming - What Are You Wearing Where?

Doesn’t it feel like the year’s going by in a blink of an eye? The fatigue from Halloween is finally dwelling, and before you know it, it’s already Thanksgiving. We window-shop sweater dresses and tights all month, yet somehow every year we decide what to wear about an hour before hauling yourself and a pumpkin pie across town. Not to mention how all of a sudden, a one day holiday on a Thursday has become a month-long affair.

So, we're offering some chic style suggestions from our curation at 4 Prince and 87 Christopher St -- perfect for every way for breaking bread with your beloveds.

A COZY FRIENDSGIVING

Imagine arriving at your friend's place, stepping into a warm chorus of hellos in the Clever Faux Fur Bomber -- the coziest way to make a big statement this Fall. Garçonne's Tia Top and Abstract Print Skirt offer sweet feminine silhouettes and unique asymmetric details in a gentle, easy-care viscose. If jeans are more your jam but the thought of denim and a big meal makes you shiver, we just got in our Pietro Palazzo Jeans in the softest French denim yet.

DINNER BACK AT MOM'S

The most anticipated evening of the season, featuring perhaps our toughest critics. Send out a hushed whisper of great taste with outerwear from the South of France, our Prince St location has in a fab sample peacoat in from Molly Bracken. Get comfortable and stay stylish in these short sleeve cardigans from South Korea. They look super cute alone or layered over button ups like our oversized checkered shirt. Complete the look with the Jadene skort — polished at the front, tactile at back.

THE WORK POTLUCK

This is a safe space to admit the awkwardness of dressing for holiday work events. Intimate and personal, yet not casual enough to mistake those sterile cubicles chairs for your gran’s velvet sofa. We love using navy and brown as “pops of color” paired with cozy grays — e.g our deep navy wool and baby alpaca Maille Cardigan over the Juniper 3/4 Sleeve  and Juno Pencil Skirt by 3D print knitwear line, Saintt Sinners. We’ve been loving their charcoal and cement color ways this season, but with their 19 made-to-order color ways — the choice is really up to you.
